Project on Japan-U.S. Cooperation in Digital Governance

During the 2021-22 academic year, the Program on U.S.-Japan Relations embarked on a new project focusing on digital governance, e-commerce, and cybersecurity, led by Director Christina Davis. The project aims to connect experts in government, the private sector, and think tanks in Japan and the U.S., and develop their networks with the faculty, students, and researchers at Harvard, the U.S., and globally. The project’s main goal is to develop best practices on digital governance, e-commerce, and cybersecurity from the perspective of U.S.-Japan cooperation. The project has involved six seminars open to the public, one public conference, and two off-the-record workshops with invited participants. With permission from the presenters, the public seminar videos are posted below.
