Research Project: Trump Administration’s Immigration Policy in Historical Perspective
Yuji Endo received his B.A. in Business Administration from Kwansei Gakuin University. He has ten years of experience as a journalist at Asahi Shimbun and started his career in Nagasaki City. In that post, he interviewed survivors of the atomic bomb and his articles became part of Nagasaki Note Part II (Asahi Shimbun, 2010), which was awarded the Peace & Cooperative Journalist Fund of Japan Encouragement Award. He has also reported on homicides, corporate fraud, and natural disasters. His hobbies include watching films and reading books. During the 2019–20 academic year, Mr. Endo will conduct research on the politics of U.S. immigration policy and policy changes under the Trump administration.
