Wei-Hsuan Jenni Ting
Jenni Ting received her B.A. in Chemistry (cum laude) in May 2015 from Harvard College, with a language citation in Japanese. At Harvard, she was the recipient of the Tazuko Ajiro-Monane Prize, awarded to the top student in the Japanese language program; a John Harvard Scholarship; and the Detur Book Prize. As an undergraduate she spent two summers in Japan, first as a research intern at Toray Industries in Kanagawa Prefecture, and then in Okayama Prefecture working with the Okayama University Graduate School of Medicine, Nakashima Medical Co., Ltd., and Okayama-South Rotary Club. She served as a manager in the Harvard-Radcliffe Kendo Club, and is currently a Residential Assistant at the Showa Boston Institute for Language and Culture. Jenni grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and in her free time enjoys baking and reading.
