Research project: U.S.-China Rivalry and Japan’s Global Business Strategies

Tatsuki Onda received his B.S. in Science from Waseda University. For over two decades, he has been a management consultant and an economist at Nomura Research Institute, Mitsubishi UFJ Research & Consulting, and Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting, with a particular emphasis on global business strategies. He has managed large-scale international projects involving business development, partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A among top Japanese companies and Asian conglomerates. He was previously an Associate at the Program on U.S.-Japan Relations during 1995-96. While at Harvard, Mr. Onda’s research will examine the U.S.-China rivalry and its impact on Japan’s global business strategies.
