Research Project: Criminal Identification and Investigation in the U.S.

Shiho Maihara earned her L.L. from Keio University and her M.L. from the Keio University Graduate School of Law. She first joined the National Police Agency in 2014 and she is currently Superintendent of the General Affairs Division, within the Commissioner-General’s Secretariat of the National Police Agency. Her previous positions at the National Police Agency include Chief Inspector at the Cybercrime Division within the Community Safety Bureau, and Chief Inspector at the Criminal Affairs Planning Division within the Criminal Affairs Bureau. Her research project for the 2020–21 year will examine crime identification and investigation in the U.S.
