Michael Witt
Professor Witt holds an A.B. in International Relations and in Japanese from Stanford University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from Harvard University. He is an Affiliate Professor of Strategy and International Business at INSEAD, a leading international business school.  Dr. Witt is the author or editor of four books, including The Oxford Handbook of Asian Business Systems (2014, Oxford), The Future of Chinese Capitalism (2007, Oxford), and Changing Japanese Capitalism (2006, Cambridge). He has also published widely in leading journals in his field, including the Journal of International Business Studies, Socio-Economic Review, and Strategic Management Journal. The focus of his research at the Program on U.S.-Japan Relations is on comparative corporate governance.
