Emma Duncan received her B.A. in Japanese Language and Culture with a minor in Biological Sciences from Wellesley College. As an undergraduate, she spent a summer in Japan working as an intern at the nonprofit organization Tokyo English Lifeline.She also spent a fall semester studying abroad at International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan. During her time at Wellesley, she worked as Administrative Assistant to the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures. Emma was born in southern California, but has spent most of her life in her adopted hometown of Boise, Idaho. In her spare time she enjoys listening to podcasts, discovering new cafes in the Boston area, and video calling with her pets at home in Boise.
