Mr. Ozaki holds a LL.B. from the University of Tokyo and a LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. At the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), his most recent position was Senior Policy Coordinator in the Minister’s Secretariat, where he developed policy packages in response to the TPP’s conclusion. He has also served in the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations in New York, Cabinet Office, and Food Safety and Consumer Affairs Bureau at MAFF. During the 2016-17 academic year, Mr. Ozaki will investigate the impact of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) on U.S.-Japan agricultural trade.
